Kamen Rider's enemy, Kame Bazooka is one bad
ass villian. Although I didn't always feel this way. It's one of
those characters what when you (or I) first saw the pictures I thought,
"eh... ot's OK...but..." and then flipped the page, but
when I finally saw this guy in person.... oh my god. I lost it.
It's spectacular. I'm convinced that Pictures will never do it justice
but I've tried to capture some of the finer points here.
His
head is what did it for me. Like the other Jumbo Villians, Kame
Bazooka is hand painted, and no where else is this more aparent
than on his head. The brush strokes making up the black outlines
and red highlites are simply breathtaking. Someone had to spend
a good chunck of time doing this, mass production be damned.
Like we've mentioned before the first
4 villians they made were exactly the same as the store displays,
the second group that was produced contained shooting mechanisms
to help them sell. Kame is from the first run and there for dosent
really "do" anything, although you can be absolutly sure
that if he was going to do something, he'd shoot some big ball out
of the Bazooka on his back. Hell, there might have even been plans
to re-make the first four villians with the mechanisms, but the
line was canceled due to poor sales so we may never know.
